and i wonder how's like in your country. i know that most of european countries dont have many traditions.

that's a video where you can see my universitary music group (those groups are also a tradition and they have a specific name "Tuna"
I study in a city near the sea, where people used to live from the salt. as so our traditions are all based that activity and our uniform as a lot of small signs that simbolize the salt, the boats and the fishermen, like the cloak with the hat. Another example of students traditions, that you can find in portugal is a particular one, in Coimbra (the first universitary city in the world), where first years cant walk in the streets after midnight, if they are found doing it, the older students (properly dressed, and without showing their face) will punish the firstyear, who can defend himself by doing a fight with the leader of the group, or to try to recognize one of the group members. this tradition represent the universitary police force that existed for 200 years and repressed the students (its abolished by now). Only a few things are in common with the traditions all over the country: the dress is black, there's a cloack (with a particular shape depending on the city), at least one 'Tuna', and the first years must suffer to learn! (by suffer i mean pranks ;P)
so tell me about your colleage traditions =P

I'll have to look into it though,If I find something I'll let you know.
