| I would. I did when I was young and I'd expect my children too... I'm sick of Nanny State England that I'm in here of having to smother your child against anything remotely harmful.
Statistically I'm sure crossing the road has taken more lives each year than children playing in construction sites. | | Reply |

Some construction worker could always kidnap your child and you'd find him dead in a ditch somewhere or you wouldn't find him at all. Also, a lot of accidents happen each year when the parent isn't watching their kids, but even sadder is when its the parents who take their own children's lives. | | Reply |

| I think that as a child you have to learn your own limits. Which often comes from falling out trees etc
I think you can teach your children about hazards and how they can avoid them, but then at the end of the day its still down to them.
A few weeks ago, a family sued the parents of a child who had a bouncy castle at the child's birthday party. It was unsupervised and an older child went on the bouncy castle, did a front flip, kicked a boy in the head giving him brain-damage. Even if it was supervised, the child still would've done the front flip, and the parents would be able to do nothing. It doesn't change the fact that it was the boy's decision to do the front flip. | | Reply |

I mean, what is happening to this world? I know it can get annoying when your child wont stop screaming but you should never ever kill your child! | | Reply |
